The Industrial Engineering Department have spearheaded the implementation of OAZ Manufacturing System (SOMA).
The system is based on the concept of Lean Manufacturing Program (Kaizen = change for the better).

By improving standardized activities and processes, Kaizen aims to eliminate waste and are characterized by the focus on teamwork, problem solving and provides pre-set targets to be achieved.

A multifunctional team is challenged by aggressive goals such as improving productivity, reducing space, ergonomics and safety, and after the event, the results are submitted to SOMA and the employees of the Omron (employees)
